Accepted to the quinquennial meeting of the Oxford Institute of Methodist Theology and will deliver a paper in the area of "Worship and Spirituality."

"Perfecting Worship and the New World: Formation, Discernment and Moral Transformation," presented at Oxford Institute of Methodist Theological Studies, Oxford, England.

Presented "Biblical Scholarship and Pastoral Ministry" at the Great Lakes Region of the Society of Biblical Literature Annual Meeting.

Assigned and chaired the steering committee of the Pastoral Care and Counseling module for the new international curriculum for ministerial education in the Church of the Nazarene.

Wrote the new international curriculum module on "Introduction to Ordained Ministry," which will be used worldwide as one of approximately 25 required structured learning modules for ministerial education of Nazarene elders and deacons. This assignment was from the International Board of Education of the Church of the Nazarene.

Completed training for Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) for Kankakee County -- Homeland Security.

Appointed by the General Church to help develop a new curriculum for the Directed Studies course for Deacon of Compassionate Ministry.
